Rhythm Parties Website

Rhythm is an exclusive nightclub in Waltham Abbey, Essex that only caters for under 18s, promoting a safe and supervised experience for young people that they will never forget.

Hot crowds and good vibes was the mission statement from rhythm and we were challenged to build a template website which could be updated and developed by the club.

We worked hard to provide a design that would attract the target audience, whilst still communicating safety and security to parents.
As a shell design based on our standard website package, we ensured we provided a product which could be easily updated and developed as the venue launched and evolved.

Matt Lamination vs Gloss Lamination

Which is best? I get asked this all the time and my answer is always ‘depends’

As I’m writing this I’ve got two folded menus in front of me; both black, both similar design, but one’s Matt and one’s Gloss and they are both achieving different things.

With the Gloss, the shine finish is giving the artwork a much more striking look, the light reflects off the cover, the blacks are a richer depth. With the Matt, the blacks are paler, slightly duller, but overall it has a look of high-class, a sophisticated feel that isn’t trying to grab attention by being ‘shiny’.

Matt Lamination gives a subtle, tactile effect that oozes quality, great for items where image and first impressions mean everything.

Whilst forming a protective coating over the print, it does not provide the same level of protection as gloss lamination and can be prone to scratching and fingerprints especially where folding is involved.

Gloss is more high profile, it adds a high gloss sheen often used on brochure covers, menus, magazine covers or presentation folders. It is definitely the high impact option. Gloss lamination forms a protective coating over the print which makes it suitable for items such as menus etc.

So it really comes down to what you’re trying to achieve. With a high class prestigious feel, Matt offers you that special touch to products aiming for a more sophisticated finish. But to grab the attention with brighter colors, richer blacks and more visible shine, Gloss is a strong choice.

Beth’s Brand New Business Cards!

There is an air of excitement in the Manchester office as Beth’s new look business cards have been delivered!

We are always a little bit giddy about print anyway, but there is nothing like receiving your own print!

Digitally printed on 350gsm thick card on both sides with matt lamination, they are vibrant, clear and being bright pink – stand out like they glow in the dark!

We might have to order some more though – as beth is giving them out to pretty much everyone!

Working closely with The Directors Coach, the team at far’n'beyond assisted in enhancing search engine ranking, layout and Google analytics.

Working from the existing website, the focus was to develop the layout and navigation adding a content management facility to ensure changes can be easily made by the client.

The website reflects the existing business branding and utilises many far’n'beyond website features, such as forms which automatically email specified accounts when completed and customer friendly content management.
